On tap at Apex, pours a murky dark amber brown with a small beige head. Aroma of light cocoa, caramel, and dry toasted malt. Flavour brings out light spiciness, a little caramel, toasted malt and some dry earthiness. Solid array of flavours, but seems a bit directionless. What are they aiming for here? Solid stuff whatever it is, but nothing special.

Draft. Amber-brown beer with a cream head. Cocoa aroma. Tart and cocoa flavor with light citrus. Medium bodied. Cocoa and light caramel lingers with light citrus and light tartness. Not sure where this is headed.
