Nitro tap. Pours with a murky near black body with a lingering off-white head. Aromas are malty, bready, light roast and a touch of salinity. Flavors are roasty, smoke, bready, and a bit of salt. Creamy and smooth. 3.5
Re-rate: On tap (co2) at the brewery. Pours with a black body and a foamy, off-white head. Aromas are roasty, dry, bready, earthy with some coffee grounds and a light hop note. Flavors are very roasty, a bit of anise, very dry and bready with a bit of a cereal grain note. Malty. Very sessionable. Medium to lively bubbles, dry, roasty with some bitterness towards the finish. Good stuff.
