Bright, clean, citrus, floral, tropical, dry… Everything a San Diego-style IPA should be. With a liberal addition of Centennial, Zythos and El Dorado hops, you get a good note of bright citrus and a background of pine. The malt takes a back seat in this beer, and really leaves the hops to be the star. An easy to drink, fantastic IPA for sunny San Diego.

Poured up on tap at Monkey Paw in the distinguished company of 48FanInCali and hamilton23. It exhibits a clear gold body that supports a near white head of foam. The aroma offers up citrusy tangelo, resiny pine and then some mango. Nice. The taste feels soft on the palate to start and then it quickly gets into citrusy hop bitterness balanced by resiny pine hops. I like the balance and depth achieved with a pleasing mix of resiny hops and malt sweetened juicy citrus hop flavor.
