Draft. Blackish beer with a tan head. Light chocolate and malt aroma. Chooclate and light toffee flavor with malt and balancing hops. Medium bodied. Chooclate and light toffee lingers with light nuttiness.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours with a near pitch black hued body with a large and lasting tan head. Aromas are roasty, spicy, rye, earthy, dark fruits, tobacco and milk chocolate. Flavors are very roasty, earthy, spicy, rye, tobacco, coffee grounds, and light smoke. Bitter balance with a bit of a carbonic bite. Medium to full carbonation. Dry finish, medium bodied with a hint of warmth.
