Poured up on tap at the Pleasanton Hopyard (and called “510 IPA”) with clear copper body and thin gold edges as well as a thin near white head. The modest aroma offers up some malts, an apple like sensation and some toffee as well as some pine resin and a touch of pine hops. The taste has some resiny pine, a touch of grapefruit citrus like hops, sweet malts, some stale malts or possibly an earthy note followed by a bit of butterscotch. Interesting offering.
