Bottle. I’m a fan of Telegraph, and this is almost an excellent oatmeal stout. Unfortunately, the carbonation is oddly strong and effervescent. The beer settles well and eventually achieves an appropriately creamy mouthfeel, but Telegraph needs to tone things down. That said, the beer has some very good flavors bouncing around. The aroma is a bit weak, though there are some nice roast and chocolate tones. On the other hand, the taste is all dark chocolate candy bar. The roast and chocolate notes combine smoothly and create a luxurious stout flavor. Sweet with a dry, roasty finish. Mild hops. Very drinkable once the carbonation drops.

On tap at Beachwood BBQ. pours with a black body and a small, tan, creamy head that leaves very nice lace. Aroma of coffee grounds, berries, tar, anise/licorice and tobacco. Taste is nutty, spicy coffee and some alcohol for 6.5%. Creamy and smooth mouthfeel.
