on tap @BT-pours a tan head that laces with dark brown color. Aroma is cocoa-dark malt. Taste is cocoa-dark malt, 2nd pine hop. A session feel.

Draft. Mahogony beer with a cream colored head. Light toasty aroma with malt andlight grapefruit. Brown malt flavor with grapefruit and pine. Medium bodied. Toastiness and malt lingers with grapefruit and pine.

On tap at City Beer. Black IPA, eh? Pours with a clear brown body and an off-white head. Aroma is strongly malty, some dark fruits and light fruity hop presence. Taste is malty, dark fruits, leather, caramel, light fruit. Tastes like a faded American Style Barleywine without the heat. Medium to low carbonation.

Good IPA with some caramel malt presence. This is more like a hoppy red ale than a CDA/black IPA. It has a fairly mild flavor profile, but it’s still full of some nice hop and malt notes. Bready, toasty. Pine/citrus hops. Gentle feel. Easy to drink.
