Sample at Pizza Port San Clemente. This brew is a clear dark copper color with a medium creamy off-white head that recedes slowly. Sheet of lacing on the glass. Aroma of dark malts and fruit. Medium body with flavors of caramel, earthy malt, fruit and a bit of roast. The finish is malty with a lingering earthy aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Draft. Rich mahogony beer with a dark cream colored head. Rich toffee aroma with light dark fruits. Rich caramel/toffee flavor with light smoke, light earth, and light dried fruits. Fuller bodied. Caramel and toffee lingers with light smoke and light dark fruits.
