Poured up on tap at the Chandler, AZ Whole Foods (who knew?) with deep clear copper body and nice looking tan head. The aroma offers up a good load of pine hops and then raisins and a faint level of black licorice. The taste is a bit thick with yummy rich prune, raisins and molasses notes. It later picks up a good level of pine hops to midway and carries nicely into the finish. The pine is only a supporting note here where the esters and malts are the forward component.

On tap. Pours with a clear amber body with a tan head that lasts. Aroma is hoppy and quite malty featuring caramel, popcorn, raisins. Taste is raisins, cardboard (woody-papery), caramel, berry jam. Lively bubbles. Dry. Not bad, but feels a bit like an overly malty-under attenuated IPA.
