Bottle thanks to OKBeerFan. Thanks again for this! The bottle opens with a firm pop. Lots of fizzy carbonation that disappears quickly. It has a deep, dark red color once settled in the glass. The aroma is interesting with dark red cherries and mild leathery funk. Very authentic fruit character. Maybe some background notes of syrupy/toasted malt. Very minor. The flavor has rich cherries with some hints of cherry syrup but also lots of tartness. Strong, prickly carbonation. Some leather and toasted malt. Very sour, but not overpoweringly acidic. No off flavors. Pretty complex ester production in this one. Well done. A little excessive re-fermentation in the bottle.
