0.50l bottle. Aroma is vinous, musty, dusty and overripe fruity with brett note. Pours cloudy amber color with medium sized soapy off-white head, yeast residue and average sparkling appearance. Taste starts with moderate sweet toasted malt and yeast, following is fruity and faint funky, mouthfeel is warm and spicy, while finish is average bitter. Full body, oily texture and lively carbonation in palate. Aroma is totally funky, while taste is more mellow and quite typical for Belgian strong ale…

mild Belgian strong ale malty aroma, also flowers, bit like a blonde ale, perhaps one that had a bit of wood barrelling. Flavor is sweet but still dry malty, white wine, faint leather, very watery texture, the flowery and slightly herbal notes that is often found in belgian yellow ale. decent but nothing special. Quite mild and easy drinking for the ABV, could do very well in an afternoon summer party if you want to get someone or yourself drunk faster than expected.

500ml bottle. Minimally milky, yellow-ish, deep golden colour with small to average, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Fruity and minimally spicy, yeasty aroma, notes of apricot, nectarine, mirabelle, a touch of Cointreau, slightly biscuity and doughy, malty basis. Taste is initially dry, bitter, yeasty spicy and fruity, notes of orange peel, some apricot, minimally soapy and medicinal, bitter chalky interference, later some rather musty funkiness comes in; bitter finish. Not bad, but also not failure-free on all channels.

Bottle. It pours a clear golden color with a fizzy off white head that disappears. The aroma is nice with soft vanilla funk and earthy hops. Light pineapple and citrus. The flavor is spicier with some orange citrus, barnyard funk and lightly honeyed Pilsner malt. Earthy hops. Lightly acidic, but mostly funky, spicy oranges. A little herbal with lemon water. Overall, good stuff.

Draft at social brewery during the eagle rock tap takeover. Clear greeny yellow coloured pour with no head. Aroma is Belgian yeast phenol, rubber, apple, light grains. Flavour is composed of semi sweet grains, apple, light Belgian yeast, spicy finish. Palate is sweet, moderate carbonation. Not a fan.
