Tap at The Colmore, Birmingham. Black with smooth beige to tanned head. Lovely notes of coffee, cream, chocolate, liquorice, caramel, light ash. Smooth medium body with a frothy carbonation. Excellent.

Draft at The Colmore, Birmingham. Poured almost black in colour with a mostly lasting frothy off-white head. The aroma is roasty malt, light vanilla lactose. The flavour is moderate sweet, with a smooth, somewhat rich, roasty, light oily, chocolate, liquorice, light dry coffee, sweet lactose palate. Over medium bodied with soft carbonation.
