Joining hands with our friends from the Philippines, Engkanto Brewing, we've concocted this decidedly delicious brew from the cauldron. Dark as night sky, this black lager has a succulent nose of apricot and peach, presiding over molasses and light chocolatey roast flavours. Dried fruit, toasted bread and a crisp finish rounds out this potion, leaving you longing for another sip...

Draft at the HCMC taproom. Poured a mostly clear dark brown colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head. The aroma is herbal, light red berry fruits. The flavour is subtle bitter, earthy herbal with a smooth, mineral, red berry fruit, light chocolate palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation. Nice enough but served way too cold for any of the promised flavours to have a chance of coming through.
