330ml can at Taps Beer Bar, Changkat, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a mostly clear dark brown colour with a short-lived, frothy off-white head. The aroma is roasted malt, caramel, light coffee. The flavour is moderate liqourice bitter, with a somewhat smooth, roasty, dry coffee ashtray, light sweet caramel, liqourice bitter palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation.

Dry roast coffee aroma, there’s a slight almost herbal slightly aniseed tonic note, balanced with dark dry chocolate—kind of an unsweetened, cooking chocolate note to finish.
