A Witbier is one of the many white (wit) beer styles originating from Leuven, in the Flemish region of Belgium. It is recognized for its cloudy pale, lightly hoppy appearance that incorporates spices to accentuate its yeasty character.
At Canard, our Witbier has a pale straw colour and slightly hazy rom the yeast and wheat malt with a refreshingly bright citrus and lemon coriander nose. “Zesty” is one word to summarize this silky, fruity, creamy, effervescent brew. When drunk fresh, it is refreshingly light with a smooth finish with no bitter aftertaste.

Draft at the Legian brewery taproom. Poured a hazy yellow golden colour with a lasting frothy white head. The aroma is bubblegum yeast. The flavour is dry yeasty bitter, with a smooth, dry, bubblegum, light banana, light clove spice palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.
