Cask at The Wellington, Birmingham. Poured a mostly clear dark brown colour with a mostly lasting frothy off-white head. The aroma is roasted malt, toffee caramel. The flavour is moderate sweet, light bitter, with a light, smooth, dry ashtray, sweet caramel, light hop bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with soft carbonation. Perhaps the sweetest mild I’ve ever had but it worked for me.
