No head whatsoever, deep blackbrown beer with ruby reflections. Intense chocolate, alcohol, fusels and red, dark fruit aromas; sweet, but nowhere suggesting cloying. Raspberry ganache-filled chocolates. Chocolate with a fine fruity acidity, red fruit, if not necessarily cherry. Very dry, making it leaner than its body probably is. Vinous, strong drink, comples. Outstanding,even without a spark of carbonation.

Bottle 22fl.oz. [ As 18th Street Hunter Cherry ].Clear dark brown color with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, chocolate, sweet malt, dark chocolate, soft dark malt, light cherry. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long to average duration, malt bitter, dark chocolate, chocolate, cherry notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. Bottle. Black with small brown head. Aroma is roasted malt, chocolate, cherry, berries, coffee, oak and wood. Flavour is roasted malts, chocolate, coffee, oak, wood, little cherry, sweet, coconut, liquorice, hop, smooth and medium bitter.

650 ml bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. Pitch black colour, small tan head. Moderate aroma of cherries and chocolate, hints of coffee and dust. Lovely flavour of cherries and dark chocolate (cherry pralines), roast malts, coffee and burnt breadcrumbs, hints of liquorice. Moderate hops in the finish.

Fra flaske på Mi2 Cardinal mai-16: brunsvart nesten uten skum. Oljet munnfylde, vinøs. Kirsebær, moreller, dessertsjokolade. En lekker sak som bør serveres i små glass til gode venner.

Shared bottle at Cardinal, Stavanger. Pours black with small beige head. Aroma of dark chocolate, cherries, milk, licorice, pralines. Taste sweet with a little cherry-sour fruitiness.

Shared bottle at Mi2 at Cardinal 23.05.16. Very dark brown. Not much head. Soft aroma, with a hint of chili. Taste of cherries, chili and dark malt. Fine aftertaste.

Bottle@yesprs - Brown to blackout wifh tan head. Sweet and medium malty, with some nice notes of cherry, some cocoa, some caramel, roasty malty notes, very nice.

Sample from 66 cl bottle. Pitch Black with a thin, tanned head. Roasted aroma with roasted notes, lactic notes, coconut, coffee, chocolate and Dark malts. Taste is sweet. Full body, oily texture. Long lasting roasted finish with coconut and chocolate. Nice treat.
