As luxurious as a chocolate cherry truffle, Hunter Cherry adds hints of delicate and tart cherry flavors to our roasty and chocolaty behemoth of a mil stout, Hunter. The third in the line of our Hunter Vertical Series.

Bottle shared in London - cheers to Henrik. Pours deep brown with a frothy, tan head. Lightly sweet, mellow roast, cocoa, lightly tangy cherry, earth, old wood. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Mild oxidation, more cocoa, berries, ashy roast. Not bad.

Level 6 tasting. Cheers Henrik. Opaque dark brown beer, small pale tan head. Airy palate, decent fine carbonation. Mellow chocolate malts, a little dark malt cream. The cherry comes through on the back end. A bit cherry jam and a little Morello cherry. Light finish. Pleasant but unsophisticated.

EBF Last Saturday Dark black with an off white head that shows great retention. Rich roast and chocolate aroma and flavor with a bit of sweetness. Cherry could really be a bit more forward.
