Bottle [from trade with RW80] @ home. Orangy color, average sized off-white head. Smell and taste are initially extremely unpleasant, as if you’re hanging face down a sewer. After a while though, it becomes more like what it should be (I think). Mainly malts, oak and some sweetness though is what I get. Hmm overall not one I’d quickly try again.

Bottle @ benzai. Slightly hazy golden colour with a medium to large sized white head. Smells sewage, sewer, fart, poop, sulfur. Tastes manure, horsepoop, sewage. Horrible. Truly horrible. Medium body, soft carbo.

Bottle 330ml. w. swing top. [ As Lahnsteiner Die Deutsche Eiche I ].Clear medium orange yellow color with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, fruity malt, sweet malt, wood, oak. Flavor is moderate sweet with a long duration, sweet malt, fruity malt, oak. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20160625]

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Clear golden with a white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, light fruity and heavy oak. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and moderate bitter finish. The wood is too dominating. 250616
