Bottle @ Sowerby Taps, Sowerby Bridge. Golden-amber with a thin head. I’ve never been a fan of Kolsch, it just tastes like lager to me and this imitation is no exception. It’s possibly mildly floral in its nose, and has twice as much in the bottle than what you’d order if you were indulging on one of Koln’s large city centre squares.

Clear golden colour with lasting head. Aroma and flavour have plenty of creamy pale malts. A bit on the gassy side
