Bottle at RBWG 2014, thanks! Pours a clear yellow with a bubbly white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma is full of earthy sweet grains with a bit of corn and sweet bread notes. Flavor has more sweet corn with some earthy sweet grains as well.

Bottle. Perfume and barley malt aroma. Golden yellow with minimal head. Lemon and very light barley malt flavor. Unless I go to India and the choice is this or dysentery, don’t think I be drinking this again.

Bottle: Pours clear, bubbled gold with a small white head. Wet cardboard, wet old grain. Corn syrup, cardboard, paper, mushy grain taste. Watery and just plain awful. 2.5 million cases a year, eh?...that’s just.....sad.

Bottle poured into a shaker. Rating 2100 here we go! Pours a dark gold with no head. Like a massively dehydrated piss first thing in the morning after a blackout-heavy night of drinking. Aroma is just god-awful. Like wet cardboard that a bum has been living in for months with is dead pet skunk. Maybe a hint of county fair cotton candy that the carnie slept in the night before. Taste is just as bad. The same skunk/wet bum cardboard/cotton candy but with the addition of some dead fish that leaches have been suckling on for a week. Texture is weak as balls too. Watered down water. Overall, awful. I’ve had some bad beers but this is the worst yet. There is not a single redeeming quality to be found here. Complete and utter crap. EDIT: just saw this, the best by date was July 1 of 2009. All I know is I will not be seeking this out again to re-rate.

Bouteille 330ml. (2006)

Originally rated August 2005. Wow.... what a royal challenge to drink this one. Skunk from the green bottle’s ass. Ok... had some honey and grass nose too. Boring pale yellow with shit-all head and all the good other stuff. Slight syrupy mouthfeel. Flat as a Ford tire. The taste is not bad, grassy herbs. I was holding off on this one at the LCBO... now I know why.

Sample at Ale Wine & Spirits in Powell on 09/02/2011. Pours a clear pale yellow-gold color with a thin white head that evaporates quickly. Spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma of minerals, grainy malt and skunk. Light body with a flavor profile reminiscent of a waterbed. Mineral water, rubber/plastic and a bit of malt. The finish is watery and leaves an off sweetness. Not an enjoyable beer.
