Canned (thanks omhper!). Golden colour, mediumsized beigeish foamy head, Aroma is malts, some slight maize, hops and even mild earthy bitterness. Flavour is grass, some earth and mild notes of bready malts. Actually quite wellbalanced compared to what I though I would have to drink!

Brown bottle from John’s Market in Portland, OR. This bottle is by Skol Breweries Ltd. in Maharashtra. Golden color with a decent white head. Aroma is pale malt with a touch of grain, and it seems bready. Near medium body with coarse carbonation. Flavor is something like noble hop, alcohol and grain. Finish is papery with a touch of bitter. Probably a good curry wash, but not a stand alone.

(Bottle 65 cl) Courtesy of Myrup. Nepalese version brewed by Sungold brewery. Pours a pale golden with tiny impurities and a rough, white head. Some fruit in the nose. Medium-bodied with an unclean malt profile. No bitterness. Drinkable though. 290407

Can. My beer no. 800. Brought to me by my Brother from a trip to India. Not the best celebration beer, but a special one. No head. Just ok aroma, bad bready and sweet taste. Short finish, and exsremely watery.

Green bottle, 330 ml, expiry date: 2/2005 (nice to have a beer cellar that conserves beers well though this one was not really worth it); eye: light straw, clear, white head that disappears rapidly, no effervescence; nose: I will write down for posterity "grainy malt that has been aired way too long" because it seriously does not smell much of anything; mouth: I believe that I detected a hint of corn but would not bet my life on it, definitely caramel though, and it also somehow tastes like 7-UP, light body in fact almost ghostly, watery texture, fair carbonation; overall: I guess you have to taste it to note it FRANÇAIS Bouteille verte, 330 ml, 5 %, date de péremption : 2/2005 (c’est bien d’avoir une cave à bière qui conserve bien les bières même celle-là bien qu’elle ne le méritait pas); couleur : paille, claire, petite mousse blanche qui disparaît rapidement, pas d’effervescence; nez : on va écrire pour la postérité « malt granuleux sucé longtemps » parce que ça ne sent vraiment pas grand-chose; bouche : je pense que j’ai détecté du maïs mais je ne parierais pas là-dessus, définitivement du caramel, et on dirait le goût du 7-UP en finale, corps léger plutôt fantômatique en fait, texture aqueuse, carbonatation décente; en résumé : j’imagine qu’il faut au moins y goûter pour la noter

Bottle: Poured a clear yellow color lager with small bubbly white head. Aroma of skunk is overly present and leaves little or no place to anything else (was drank before BBD). Taste is weak with some skunk noticeable and some malt. Overall, this is very weak.

Bottled. Golden colour, no head. Sweet and ricey with clean, hard mouthfeel. Mellow and unrefined with low bitterness. Suitable name. It is a royal challenge to finish this beer.

Bottled 05/2004, 330ml (brewed by SKOL Breweries Ltd, Mumbai)
This is a pilsener. Golden color, small white head, some lace. Aroma of Saaz hops, only slightly skunked. Light. Malty, grassy hoppy. Clean. One of the better options in India. And this is "brewed under supervision of SAB Miller brewmasters"!
