Can. A crystal clear, golden beer topped by a finger-thick off-white head. Wort, bread crust, toffee hints and a wee note of cooked vegetables in the aroma. Some fruityness. It’s semi-sweet on the palate, with a quite pleasant carbonation. Medium body fullness. Some bitterness in the flavor, dealing with the sweetness. There’s also some fruityness, and a notes of cooked vegetables and toffee. Lasting mostly bitter finish. Not very good this on either, I just don’t understand why they keep on brewing new pilsner types instead of doing some more interesting. 140626

50cl can from Rema 1000. Askim. Pours clear (pale) golden with a fairly decent, white head. Grainy aroma with mild fruity and slightly citric notes, hints of cooked vegetables and faint caramel. Moderate sweet with the usual pale lager flavours, some hops noticeable, but quite boring. Just another pale lager, but nice with Norwegian grain. Drinkable, but nothing I would buy again.

Aroma: Mild evergreen hoppy, light citric and mild malty.
Palate: Medium body. Moderate sweet and an ok bitterness. Average carbonation.
Taste: Evergreen hoppy, a bit citric and mild malty.
Overall impression: Well I have to admit that this one was far better than expected. Quite fresh and pleasant.
