Flaske 0,5 L fra Kjeller 5 Tromsø. Mørk brun med beige skum. Lukter karamell og sjokolade. Karamell og mørk sjokolade, litt tørr i avslutningen, fint balansert lett bitterhet, veldig god lettdrikkelig øl

500ml bottle as Brown Ale, 4.7 % abv, bought at Kjeller 5. A finger-tick tan-coloured head over a deep dark brown body. Clingy lacing. Nicely roasted dark malty aromas. Flavours of earth, dark bread and salty liquorice followed by a rather long-lived roasted bitter finish. Fine bodied. Pleasant stuff (Tromsø 21.11.2015).

Flaske 500ml fra Kjeller 5. Kjempemørkebrun. Egentlig svart. Lavt stabilt skum med brunfarge. Tett lacing. God sjokoladearoma med innslag av lettrøkt malt. Smaken bra balansert. Fine nyanser av brent malt, melkesjokolade og tørr kaffe. Litt bunnfall. Rett og slett en utmerket brown ale som vil være et funn til litt tunge kjøttretter & grillmat.
