Tight foamy light brown coloured head on a dark brown body. Medicinal, tea & linctus aroma. Medium to full bodied, smooth oily & sticky. Tea, clove, cough lozenges, herbal, aniseed & malt tastes. Different.

Smooth and spicy fruit, maybe some cinnamon? A bit lacking in punch for a beer of 9%

Can from Appellation Wines. Appearance - dark brown to black and opaque. Tan head. Nose - mainly chai spice, so cinnamon and nutmeg. Creamy chocolate at the back. Taste - creamy chocolate this time with Chai spice on top. Bourbon biscuits. Palate - medium bodied with a creamy texture. Very light biscuit roast on the finish. Overall - quite nice.

Black beer, thin head soon fizzles away. Aroma is warming and spicy. Flavour has the chair spice too, which is warming and wintery. Some lactose, coffee, sweet malt. Rather tasty with a decent body.

Rich, spicy, herbal. Not my favourite notes in a stout, but this is still very well made.
