Sample from 33 cl can. Clear amber golden colour with a medium sized off-white head. Sweet aroma with coffee, roasted malts, grasses and caramel malts. Taste is bitter roasted. Medium body with a creamy texture and a soft carbonation. Finishes drying with coffee. Nice.

Can from Crafty Crow, Nottingham. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are rich coffee, vegetables, fruits, hops and has a rich coffee finish. I don’t get this white stout thingy.

Can at home picked up from Beer Ritz. A light hazed mid amber coloured pour with a lasting beige head with a greenish tinge. Aroma is raw spicy coffee bean, brown sugars, cakey amlts, casara, little veg. Flavour is composed of woody coffee, balsa, brown malts, riasin loaf, jammy fruit, spicy coffee bean, . Woody raw finish. Palate is medium sweet, grainy, moderate carbonation. Decent coffee character, little rough round the edges.

Can from Beer shop in Victorian Market, Stockport [140517]
WTF it’s orange, oaty whiteish, opaque, didn’t expect that
Aroma - Unusual, roast coffee, grassy hops, but quite subdued
Taste of bitter orange citrus hops under the coffee, coffee roast knocks out most of the hop flavours, fairly sweet malt background, not that complex
Palate - Soft carb, medium body, milky texture, quite sweet, bitterness from coffee roast and hops. Finish as main flavour.
Overall - Interesting, but coffee only works in pale beers if it’s more subtle than this - just a tad too much coffee

330ml can. Pours a hazy amber colour with a one finger beige head. Aroma has very prominent coffee grounds, vanilla, chocolate, dried fruit. Taste of milky coffee, vanilla, chocolate, dried fruits, lightly sweet with a moderate bitter coffee finish. Medium body, average carbonation, slick creamy mouthfeel. Pretty good beer, a little sweeter than a typical coffee stout.

Can courtesy of Jude (cheers Jude) consumed at home Thursday 20th April 2017 Hazy amber with a white head. There is a pleasant coffee aroma on the nose, this comes through in the mouth also. It carries a little sweetness, but that coffee (touch milky and fizzy) really blasts through. A7 A4 T7 P4 Ov15 3.7

Can sample thanks to Gavin. Appearance - dark brown and murky, with a lovely lacy head. Nose - coffee and cream. Taste - more chocolate this time, but milky coffee is the main theme. Loads of coffee in there. Palate - close to medium bodied with a creamy middle section. The finish is dry and crunchy. Overall - coffee stoutas are not my thing but I really like this. Nice balance.
