Black pour topped with a lasting khaki head.
Nose is roast malts, charr, dried fruit esters, toffee.
Taste comprises cocoa powder, charr, roasted bite, dried fruits.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close.
Okay stout.

Tap at Cherry Reds, Birmingham. Pours a near black with smooth tanned head. This has quite a roasty character with a berry fruitiness and some dark chocolate and liquorice. Smooth medium body, semi-drying. Good.
