The entire hazy movement was built on Citra. We love it. We find who grows it best. We use it with near reckless abandon. It’s a regular in our Tree House-style offerings.
For this series, Evolution of Citra, we will chart its utility and magic through increasingly big and saturated styles, beginning, of course, with the venerated Blonde Ale. All brewed and dry-hopped with our finest Citra lots.
Sitting at a quaffable 4.0%, this blonde is the perfect introduction to the series and allows for a lively session of fun and introspection. Pouring a brilliant straw color, notes of pithy grapefruit peel, fresh-squeezed orange juice, and a hint of ripe mango lift out of the glass. We hope you enjoy this sessionable Citra showcase; there is much more to come!
