Taste: bright, honey, subtle sweeyness
Notes: A classic style from Munich, and what the Bavarians created after the Czech’s discovered Pilsner. Less hoppy than the Pilsner, Helles is malt driven with cracker and white grape aromas and the flavor is clean and bright.
FUN FACTS: “Hexen” is German for “witches” and “Stadt” is German for town/city. “Helles Stadt” is loosely translated to “Witch City” !

Pours clear gold into a willi. Bright white head with good retention recedes to skim surface. Cracker and meadow aromas. Soft and sweet with meadow, biscuit and mild sourdough front to back.
