14th Anniversary Czech Special Pale Lager
Our 14-year anniversary beer is a svetlý špeciál, or special pale lager with a slightly higher strength (5.2%) than standard. An enhanced double decoction with Czech floor malted barley, hopped with Sládek, Sterling and Michigan Saaz hops, open fermented, natural carbonation, and extended maturation in horizontal layering tanks.

Pours clear gold into a willi. Bright white soapy head with medium retention recedes leaving gloppy lacing. Sweet hay and caramel aromas. Crisp with toasted sourdough, straw and earthy spice front to back. Lasting dry pith finish.
