Can to tulip.
Appearance: semi-transparent amber to maroon color with a two finger white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some lace
Aroma: orange peel, nutmeg and cinnamon skate over top of an even keeled biscuity to caramel malty base
Flavor: after more warmth the aromas end up blending for a nice semi-sweet to slightly spicy character; mild aftertaste of the nutmeg, orange peel and malt base
Texture: medium bodied, between sessionable and being a sipper, semi-dry along my tongue, finishes with the orange peel and cinnamon
Overall: I'd say twas a nice holiday ale I would welcome again next season.

Pours clear mahogany into a tulip. Tan head with little retention recedes to hug rim. Nutmeg, cinnamon and treacle aromas. Thick with sweet orange marmalade, cinnamon and nutmeg front to back. Warming earthy spiced fruitcake finish.

4 packs at home over few days. Murky reddish brown with puffy white head. Nose is Christmas spice. Tastes of cinnamon, nutmeg, clove, touch of orange peel, some cola, wine residue. Hides abv fairly well
