Originally brewed as a Russian Imperial Stout in the fall of 2021 using Maris Otter, Golden Promise, Crystal, chocolate and roast malts. Aged for more than eight months in maple syrup bourbon barrels. Upfront bourbon spirit, together with notes of black cherry, walnut and cocoa nibs, pairs with a sweet vanilla and maple finish.
At 10.5% ABV, OPIR is a big beer, meant for thoughtful sipping.
ALE BREWED IN USA
A portion of the proceeds of each sale will go to World Central Kitchen (https://wck.org/relief/activation-chefs-for-ukraine) to support its good work in feeding those affected by the war in Ukraine.

Pours dark brown into a snifter. Mocha head with medium retention recedes to hug rim. Bourbon and vanilla aromas. Medium bodied with hot chocolate covered cherry, molasses, maple, soy and oak front to back. Lasting licorice and bourbon maple finish.
