Bottle. A clear, golden beer with an off-white head. Caramel-sweet nose with a little fruityness. Not bad, just uninteresting and a bit weak. Sweet, caramel flavor with some fruits. A little bitterness too. As the aroma, the flavor isn’t much to brag about. Quite dry in the mouth. Certainly not a beer I’ll return to, it’s too boring for that. 090720

Hazy amber with a medium beige head. Aroma had roasted malt, caramel and hints of smoke. The flavour was somewhat fruity and had notes of caramel, smoke and toasted malt. Mild hoppy finish.

Clear golden with a small white head. Grassy hop aroma, with fruity yeast not unlike an English golden ale. Dry and bitter with just a slightly smokey touch.

Bottle. Creamy off-white good mostly lasting head. Orange colour. Alas many particles. nice special oak aroma more than smoked. Very smoked flavor, and fruity. Moderate smoked and bitter finish. Oily palate. Special brew but interresting.

50 cL bottle. Pours amber/brown with a little off-white head. Aroma is malty and slight buttery. Smoked flavour, woody and caramel malty in a dry way. Dry and somewhat bitter finish. Nice.

Hazy amber color. The smokeyness in the aroma reminds me more a breakfast with toasted bread than an open fire. The body is medium-light but a bit oily; there is some caramel flavor (it would not be anyway a great beer) with a pleasant smokey touch. Controversial.
