This blonde abbey-style ale is named for the physical process of turning solids into spirits. A semi-sweet nectar with just a hint of herbal bitterness.

On tap at The Brewer's Art, pours a clear golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out light Belgian yeast and crisp biscuity malt. Flavour is along the same lines, with Belgian yeast, crisp crackery malt and some light esters. Nicely balanced and crisp. Good stuff.

Draft. Filtered orange-tan color. Fluffy head. Rich, yeasty flavor. Some pleasant Belgian Candi sugar balanced by some hoppy bitterness which grows after a few sips. Creamy and sweet, a very nice Belgian Golden Ale.
