Draft at the brewpub. Reddish black color. A little bitter chocolate in the aroma. Some bitter chocolate sweetness flavor-wise, but a little too watery and light. Smooth and drinkable, average example of a US Porter.

I had this at O''Shaughnessy''s Public House in the Arena District here in Columbus under the moniker "O''Shaughnessy''sDam Good Porter". The waiter told us it was brewed exclusively for O''Shaughnessy''s by CBC but I can''t imagine it being a different brew than the 1859 Porter. Either way this is a great Porter. I had to wait for it to warm a bit as it was served too cold but it was worth it. Pours an oily black color with a very thin head. Nice roasted coffee aroma. Slightly creamy flavor consisting of coffee (again) with a nice toasty finish. This is definitely one to get again.
