Our very English brewer, Josh was biting at the bit to create a very English Porter… So We Did! Introducing The Very English Porter that is rich with flavour and refreshing as a cup of tea. Our grain bill includes 2Row, Chocolate and Crystal 60 Malt with noticeable flavour profiles of coffee and chocolate. We used Cascade and East Kent Golding Hops round this malty beverage nicely. Don’t let the dark beer fool you in the Summer weather as it pairs extremely well with anything you pull off the BBQ.

Roast and a little bit. Some coffee. Light but not unpleasant. Black pour with decent head. Light bitter finish. Tap at brewery.

Brown, tan head. Light toasty malt nose. Thin bodied, light malt , faint bitterness. Drinkable, not memorable

On tap at KBC, pours a deep dark amber brown with a small beige head. Aroma reveals English bready malt and a touch of dry toasted toffee. Flavour is a bit tart, seemingly a bit off, with toasted bready malt and some gentle tartness. Not very convincing—not a great malt profile and doesn't seem to be dialled in quite properly. Meh.
