Our Amerikanischer Traum is an India Pale Ale that has it all. Strong bitterness with pronounced fruit notes of citrus and red berries paired with a resinous scent of pine. Not for everyone but the connoisseur will love it.

7/3/2020. Bottle at my Birthday bottle share, courtesy of Martin - cheers! Pours hazy golden amber with a bubbly/frothy off-white head. Aroma of passion fruit, grapefruit, citrus, malt and light pine. Moderate sweetness and medium bitterness with a touch of tart. Medium body, average carbonation. Earthy sweet finish with a hint of honey. Not bad.

Bottle from Maruhn. Drunk in Kaysersberg. Orange with a frothy white head that lingers. Mild notes of peaches and mango in the aroma. Herbal undertones, a hint of peppermint. Taste is bittersweet to bitter with a bit of resin at the finish. Body to the light side of medium, carbonation is soft. Decent.
