(Tap) clear, bright, dark brown color with a medium tall brown head; aroma of molasses, cereal, balanced flavor with a long, light bitter; smooth palate,

Pleasant enough in the mouth, but too harsh and bitter in the aftertaste for an Irish Stout. Enjoyable nonetheless

5 oz. pour on tap as part of a flight at the brewery. Appearance is opaque black with finger-width light beige nitro head and no lacing. Aroma is strong coffee and roasted malt. Taste is strong earthy roasted malt and coffee. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with smooth texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste with lingering moderate bitterness. Overall, matches description well. Not complex but good strength. More on the earthy side than I’d like.
