Bottle in our shabby Helsinki apartment. Opaque black - brown beer, big pale tan head.Palate is airy, mildly dry and minerally crisp. Fluffy dark malts, little dark malt cream. Some roast bitterness. Sweetish dark chocolate, well buried. Modest pine hops, touch of floral bitterness. Dry crispy finish. Dark malt linger. Decent but could be hoppier.

330ml bottle from Alko. Pours brown with a thick foamy head. Aroma of mild roastiness, grainy malts, earthiness and hints of cocoa. Taste is harsh, grainy and earthy with mild hints of roastiness, grassy hops and herbal notes. Finish is harsh, grainy and earthy with mild roastiness. Doesn’t really taste like a black IPA.

Piwo dobre smaczne tresciwe. Piwo ma spora piane ale niezbyt trwala. Gleboki gesty i czarny kolor.
