Tall can from Citysuper at home on a morning without R. Dark dark cola brown black pour (cola brown on the edges) with thin even tan head. Aroma is creamy vanilla, coconut, leather, wood, alcohol. Taste is lighter than you’d think for big BA imperial stout. Sharp bitter roasted coffee tingle on the front, lots of nutty coconut, some hints of tingly cinnamon (not overwhelming artificial cinnamon as can sometimes happen), sweet woodsiness. Lots of alcohol from beginning to end. Palate is thinner with a light persistent crispy carbonation that somehow makes it feel like a lighter lager-y stout.

This is good. Lots of rich bourbon barrel coconut, vanilla, syrup, chocolate and light coffee. Soft.
