On tap at the brewery pours out amber brown color topped with a sand head. Nose is roast malts some nice toasted nuts and a little grass hop. Taste is more of the nice grain malts and some grass.

Tall can from Brewcraft at home. Clear caramel brown pour with puffy white head. Aroma is candied dark bread, spiced wood. Nice. Taste is bitter at the back, with sweet toasty bread throughout. Has the feeling of a very dark maybe rye bread, or something similar. Finish is sweet, bitter, alcohol. Palate is smooth and slightly rich. Very nice.

Can - dark mahogany color - moderate creamy lace - nose of raisin and dark bread - fairly sweet - nicely full and creamy texture - forward sweetness washes out some underlying complexities of dark bread, caramelized maltiness, dark fruit - light hop bitterness on the tail end balanced out some of the sweetness - some alcohol warmth in the finish.
