Brewed with lots of juicy Scottish raspberries and aged in a French oak chardonnay barrel for over 12 months. Pairs wonderfully with smoking jackets, leather upholstery, and good company.

Not quite sure how old this one is, but a lovely beer. Mainly a tart acetic acid, barrel oak and vanilla on the nose, but the raspberry is still very clear in the mouth. Juicy, clean, dry sharp finish

Tall bottle from 2020 Christmas white elephant. Saved for a whole somewhat inadvertently. Dark copper brown pour. Limited white head that disappears quickly. Aroma is cherry raspberry grape tartness - like a light fruity Pinot noir. Some round wood comes through too. Taste is tart red berries with some sweetness and slight vanilla but might be just because I know itβs barrel aged. Palate is rich which helps my usual gripe about sours being too thin. Tingly tart carbonation avoids cloying. Lasting tartness with alcohol warmth. Aroma much more wine-like than taste.
