Not very much on the nose, first sip is pils, bitter bready yeast, hint of lime. Rounds off at the end from the oak, not clean vanilla notes, but reminiscent of it, echo of a stout that becomes more dominant as it warms slightly

Tall can from Brewcraft at home. Intrigued by the idea of white wine barrel aged Pilsner. Pour is clear light gold with dusty white thin head. Aroma is apple juice, crisp bitter green apple, acidic white wine. Really good. Taste is crisp green apple acid with biscuit Pilsner flavor. Slightly sweet on the finish. Very good - should do more of these to add complexity to the Pilsner profile. Definitely try it if the concept piques your interest - won’t be disappointed.

From a 440ml can on 14/11/2020 (shared by Butz with thanks). Pours a clear light golden with a medium head. The nose is bready and vinous. Has quite a strong chardonnay taste from the barrel with some wood and sweet fruit in the background. Finishes reasonably sour. The mouthfeel is slick, the carbonation moderate. An odd and reasonably interesting beer that doesn't quite come together, but props to Deeds for pushing the envelope. Glad I tried it but wouldn't revisit.
