Good Beer Project was built on the belief that most people wants to do good,
there just needs to be a more spontaneous, entertaining, and pleasurable way of going about it. Each beer sold donates 30% profit to a designated charity, this beer is dedicated to Feeding Hong Kong, the first HK food bank dedicated to rescuing surplus food from retailers and manufacturers and redistributing to people in need.
Char Siu Man has a small stature but a big heart, he was nurtured to help those in needs. Now, all grown up, he looks to balance two distinct challenges, those with surplus, and those in need. What better way to negotiate such a delicate problem than to create a perfect marriage, and balance the two.
Char Siu Man is a Lemon Ice Tea IPA, marrying delicate, but seemingly opposing ingredients of a specially blend of tea, and citrus-based hops. The result? Find out with a plate of 暗然銷魂飯.

Can from Brewcraft at home, alongside another new lemony HK beer, Heroes’ lemonade milkshake IPA. Light copper pour with fine white head. Aroma is mild - lemon-tea earthy tang, some sweetness and bread. Taste is sort of like a Sierra Nevada classic Pale Ale with a citrus and tea infusion. Some juicy sweetness up front, with earthy tea combining with the pine earth hops and biscuit malt. Light palate with medium carbonation. The lemon flavor - while true to the form it has in the namesake lemon ice tea - is a bit more subdued than in the candy-bright lemon pop of the Heroes beer.
