Blonde in appearance but with pure gold, maybe diamonds aren't a girls best friend.

25/7/2020. Bottle from Beer Cockermouth (beergb.com), and shared with the SHIG at our second Cumbrian bottle share. Pours very slightly hazy dark gold with a small bubbly/frothy off-white head. Aroma of butter, biscuit, citrus, grain. Medium sweetness and light bitterness. Moderate body, slight oily texture, average Carboantion. slight dryness to finish. Not their best.

500ml bottle from the source, a gift from my brother-in-law. Drank on his raised patio on 22nd April 2019. Golden body, clean and clear, weak white crown on top. Light malts give way to a solid and dry hop finish, went down well in the afternoon sunshine. Nothing spectacular but a decent enough beer all round.
