A brown coloured traditional English bitter with complex malt and fruit flavours and a dry bitter finish. Only an English yeast strain and hops are used to maintain the integrity of this classic beer style. A good dollop of black treacle is also added in a nod to the historical use of molasses in beers, particularly by breweries in the vicinity of sugar refining factories.

Hops: Brewers Gold, Fuggles and Goldings.
Malts: Low colour pale ale ( Tipple and Propino ) , chocolate , dark crystal and wheat .
