Brewed from two different pale barley-malt varieties, Maxlrain ERNTE HELL or PALE HARVEST, is a full-bodied welcome alternative for beer-lovers with an awareness of alcohol levels but nevertheless reluctant to sacrifice quality of taste. With only 2.8% vol. of alcohol, this popular beer speciality with its characteristic malt aroma and stable foam head is 100% MAXLRAIN in taste and quality.
In many places Maxlrain ERNTE HELL is also served as a “light midday beer”

Had this as Maxlrainer Ernte Hell. Bottle looks really good. Beer in the glass also, zippy, nice head. Starts mild, but not washy, spicy-wheaty, fine malty. Modest sweet. Finish well balanced, grasy-wheaty. Very drinkable. Nice!

Bottled(500ml). -as Maxlrainer Ernte Hell. Clear yellow coloured, small airy white head that went away fast, salty nose. Watery, grainy and bready with notes of hay. Short bitter finish, watery palate.

Bottle: Straw golden, livelz carbonation, small, persistent white head, sticking to the glass, grainz-wortz nose with delicate, but distinctive grassz-aromatic hops in the second row; verz delicate bitter flavour, verz light bodied; short bitter.grainz finish. Not unpleasant, but as exciting as a sleeping pill...........

(bottle) Clear, pale golden coloured effervescent hue with a big and slowly lacing foamy white head. Light-sweet, slightly strawy malty nose with grassy hops. Light bodied, slightly sweet flavour, crispy mouthfeel. Slim malty, strawy base with light traces of citrus and herbal notes; thin and slightly papery malty finish with shades of grassy and herbal hops. Light but not completely tasteless Lager. Might be a nice thirst-quencher in the summer-time (25.01.08).

Beautifull messing color. Smells like a harvest beer probably should: Malt and straw. Surprisingly full body, but still a weak finish.
