On draft at Tap 25. It pours a clear amber color with a creamy off white head. The aroma is toasted with intense cherry syrup-like maltiness. Not too sweet smelling, as there’s a hint of roasted malt that balances it out a bit. The flavor has some toasted malt, cherry with a light roasted kick in the finish. Intense malt character. Maybe a hint of earthy bitterness. The body is smooth and full. The hint of roasted malt in the finish saves this from being on the syrupy/cloying side. Not bad.
