Keg at the brewpub in Aberdeen. Clouded bright yellow / straw coloured pour with a lasting thin white head. Aroma is wit yeast , earthy, straw and wheat. Slight dishwater nose. Flavour is clean wheat, yeast, light banana, chalky water profile. Palate is thin, chalky. Very drying finish. Highish carbonation.

Keg at 6DN, Aberdeen, 20/06/14. Hazy yellow with moderate off white spotting. Nose is lemon rind, wheaten notes, yeast esters, coriander, spice. Taste comprises clove, lemon, citric tinged straw, earthy rinse, yeast tones. Medium bodied, prickly carbonation, clean exit. Decent enough Wit refreshment.

Tasting from bottle thanks to Pete @ Beerhive. Appearance - looks like a Wit, kind of cloudy/bitty with a thin head. The colour is barely cream. Nose - gently creamy/wheaty with no hint of the expected orange or coriander. Taste - as with the nose. Palate - very light and thin bodied but a refreshing drink at least. Overall - perhaps lacklustre would be a slightly better name as it lacks the body expected in a wit. However, it wasn’t unpleasant.

Keg at Marine Hotel, Stonehaven. It pours hazy straw yellow with a small white head. The nose is wheat, zesty orange, spice, green grape and sweet melon. The taste is rather smooth....dough, wheat, light spice, zesty orange, grapefruit, lemon and some clean tartness with a dry finish. Medium body and fine, prickly carbonation. Rather delicious! Not normally my sort of thing, but this was tasty and well balanced. Great stuff.
