Decent and refreshing ale.
Hazed golden color with a fine white head. Lovely lacing down the sides of the glass. Looks good and inviting. Decent intensity in the aroma. Medium body and a fine carbonation. Mellow nice sweetness. Citric, wheat, malty, some yeast and herbal flavor.
[On tap at Cains Brewery Tap in Liverpool, England]

On a sampler tray, keg at Six Degrees North. Pale golden with a slight wheat haze. Lacing rings down the glass. Filmy layer. Spiced citric aroma. Fruity flavours of lemon and orange, hints of banana sweetness as well, lightly spiced with coriander. Mid-sweet fruity ending. Decent version of the style, quite refreshing (Aberdeen 12.04.2016).

33cl bottle from Beer52.com. A slightly hazy pale straw colour with a ring of white head; aroma of yeast and coriander; immediate sweet and sour taste with some metalic herbs, but soon mellowing to reveal orange zest and warming spices; then a satisfying bready finish with a trace of nuts. A rather good Belgian-style witbier.
